Gain information, skills, and experience! Complete the orientation to become a paid intern! Participants will research positions or fields of interest to them and then be eligible for placement at their dream job! Plus$100 for interview-appropriate clothing for all graduates! Using the WorkNet Career Development curriculum, we will creatively address: job search strategies, resume development, work motivation, career planning, overcoming barriers to employment, and marketing oneself to potential employers.
Anyone interested can sign up by just signing and bringing the attached flyer to Paul at the Center for Young Adults by August 28th.
Participants are now required to completean updated resume and cover letter andthe Career Exploration Exerciseprior to beginning the orientation!
The worksheet is attached and includes all necessary information & needs to be done prior to class.
Also, anyone interested in taking the orientation class must come in ahead of time to become a member.
